Autumn/Winter 2012 at Bristol Fashion Week was a fun-filled affair, with rich fabrics, juicy berry tones and models of all ages, shapes and sizes – hurrah!
It may not be high fashion in the same way as London Fashion Week, but Bristol’s celebration of style is always great fun and features high street trends we can all afford. This season’s shows featured oriental prints, purples, brocade fabrics, heritage style tweed and fabulous French inspired LBDs.
Once again, I was manning the live blog at The Mall Cribbs Causeway and watching all of your reactions and tweets during the show. One thing us bloggers loved was the diversity of the show – there were women sizes 10 – 16, aged 18 – 60, all of them confidently wearing this season’s styles and looking fabulous. In Bristol, models dance, laugh, smile at the audience during the show and – gasp! – actually eat backstage! Long may it continue. Check out the gallery below for a few of my favourite looks from the shows.
