Autumn/Winter 2015 Fashion: Metallic skirt

25th August 2015

This month we’ve been organising Bristol Fashion Week and there will be lots of opulent metallics on the catwalk for Autumn/Winter, which inspired me to put together this look…

Metallic skirt for autumn winter 2015

You’ll never believe it, but this entire outfit cost me less than £20. The T Shirt was a gift from Vogue Netherlands, the shoes were picked up in the River Island sale and I got this Sugarhill Boutique skirt in a car boot sale in Bristol for just £3! Outfits like these are my favourites; I love thrown together pieces that shouldn’t work on paper but somehow do in real life.

These shots were actually taken by the Harbourside in Bristol as part of a little collab with fellow bloggettes Emily at Mermaid Gossip and Chloe at Love from Lucky. This time I thought I’d show you a couple of behind-the-scenes shots, taken by Chloe, which give you a peek into all the fun we had…

Harbourside was a great place to shoot as there were lots of diverse backgrounds to choose from and it’s lovely and light. You can see what Emily’s outfit post looked like here.

I’m hoping this little bargain skirt will get a lot of wear this party season – I plan to wear it with some jewel toned tops to parties and also perhaps with a little white shirt when I’m on PR duty at Bristol Fashion Week, too…

What a great collab! It’s so fun to work with other bloggers 🙂 This outfit is such a bargain! I love the metalic skirt, it reminds me of one I spotted in a Whistles sale last year but didn’t get…I still regret that. I’m trying to hold onto summer but it’s hard to resist the autumn pieces coming through – I’m loving the leather skirts and picked up a great one in Zara!

Thanks Niki! It was a lot of fun. I’m not usually one for posing but it’s fun when you’re doing it with others. Ooh yes, I just went in Zara today and they had some amazing stuff! It’s too tempting!
